Eventually, Brennan and his wife Allison decided to make Bradenton, FL their home. Over the last decade, he has been an integral part of Kern & Gilder Construction Inc., gaining valuable experience in building structures that are tailor-made for the unique coastal environment of Anna Maria Island. Throughout the years, Brennan’s dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence have played a pivotal role in the company’s growth.
Brennan’s experience of over 20 years in the construction industry is backed by multiple state licenses, including Building Contractor, Building Inspector, Building Plans Reviewer, 1 & 2 Family Dwelling Inspector, and Home Inspector. You can rest assured that you are in capable hands in your construction endeavors.
Amy Moriarty - Office Manager
A New England native and unshakable fan of its sports teams, Amy Moriarty swapped blizzards for beach days when she relocated to Florida in 2020. Before that, she lived in Washington State, where her husband, Quinn, wrapped up his 29-year military career. But Florida wasn’t entirely new to her; for years, Amy had been a regular visitor to her family’s home on Anna Maria Island, instantly captivated by its quirky, laid-back charm.
Amy now brings her talents to Kern & Gilder Construction Inc. after years with the City of Anna Maria. She started there as the Legislative Liaison before stepping into the role of Permitting Coordinator in the Building Department. Along the way, she discovered a love for construction, permitting, and teaming up with contractors and clients alike.
Now thriving in the private sector, Amy’s excited to bring her knack for collaboration and top-notch service to Kern & Gilder’s clients. When she’s not on the job, you’ll find her soaking up Florida life with Quinn, plotting to fill their Parrish home with dogs, horses, and ducks—though she’s still working on winning him over to the idea!
